Yatra Foundation a non profit, non governmental and independent organization for healthy and sustainable tourism practice and environmentconservation in Nepal.
Yatra foundation aims to promote and facilitate sustainable and equitable tourism in Nepal by bringing together concerned stakeholders from the public, private and I/NGO sectors who are involved in – or have an influence on – the tourism industry. This will be achieved primarily through knowledge sharing, skills transfer, compilation and distribution of best practices models, and through marketing support for sustainable tourism products.
Yatra foundation primarily works for the promotion of Nepal Tourism Year 2011, sustainable development of Nepelese tourism industry, tourism product development, tourism product promotion, climate change, education, poverty reduction HIV/AIDS etc.
